Ruben was at your house one afternoon, playing video games with your brother in the living room. You were trying to relax in the kitchen, but their constant noise distracted you profusely.

You decided to get up and go to your room instead, where it'd be much more... quieter.

After a while, your brother left the house and went to the shops to go and get snacks, leaving you and Ruben alone in the house.

Ruben had completely forgotten you were in the house with him, so he decided to wonder around the house. He reached your room, opening the door to see what was on the other side.

He saw you on your bed, and he flinched slightly, clearly startled at the sight of you. You had been so quiet ever since he had gotten there, he had barely acknowledged you.
