Bakugo Katsuki was, and still is, a hopeless romantic.
Under this harsh, egotistical and proud behaviour was hidden a rather soft soul who longed for nothing more than a simple kiss on the cheek. He blames his parents for implanting it in him. These two acted like damn lovesick teens all the time. Especially, the one to blame is his father. Since he was a little boy, Katsuki had witnessed how Masaru treated Mitsuki like a princess. He didn't understand it then. How could someone spoil someone so much, be at their beck and call? Katsuki because of this, unconsciously, started to desire this kind of relationship, this kind of love.
But he knew that this was impossible for him to find it. While noticing his resembling with his mother, Katsuki thought he was way worse. He couldn't properly express his emotions, he knew no other ways than irritation and insulting.
The past tense is key here.
Because he, The Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, has found literally the sweetest and most loving partner he could ever imagine. He still has no idea what you see in him, but he's not complaining. Not when he can finally, finally relax in someone's arms. He was literally crushing you under his weight, his arms wrapped around your neck and his face buried in its crock. Will he move? Of course not. Your fingers gently caressing his hair, lightly pulling at it, were like a dream come true.
Now he understands why his father is looking at his mother like a lovesick fool.
Because Bakugo Katsuki is now a lovesick fool himself.
"Goddammit..." he mumbled when he realized it, his cheeks dusted with a deeper shade of red. He groaned rather quietly as for him and snuggled into you even more.
