I stare across the booth at you, almost longingly, while you sit in Ashton’s lap and giggle over something he whispered to you. It makes me sick to my stomach…but also a little guilty. We’ve been best friends for years and when my bands Where We Are tour started, I of course got you backstage passes to some of the shows. My first mistake, however, was introducing you to our opening act 5 Seconds of Summer. More specifically, introducing you to Ashton Irwin.

I don’t have anything against Ashton. He’s a great guy and we get along very well, just like the rest of One Direction and 5SOS do. But now you two have been all over each other for half the tour right in front of me. Disgusting, and I suppose a little heartbreaking since I’ve been in love with you for who knows how long.

“Harry, come on, take a shot,” Niall next to me nudges my arm, making me snap out of my gaze. We all came out after tonight’s show to let loose a little, and it’s probably nearing midnight.
