The once bustling cobblestone streets were vacant, absent of life. Everyone in the town was tense. Bandits had been raiding other settlements across the west and everyone here was scared they were next.
However one man is courageous enough to step outside, his strides confident but not cocky. It’s as if it’s just another regular day for him, like the bandits might not arrive any day now.
The towns sheriff Clark Kent was well known and adored. His compassion and strength were admired and feared by the town and neighboring bones that knew of him.
However his thoughts are quickly interrupted when a citizen bumps into him, causing him to blink surprise. Wasn’t everyone supposed to stay inside?
“Well I’m sorry lil’ lady,” he says, tipping his hat. “I didn’t see ya there, but aren’t ya s’posed to be inside?”
