Hia walks slowly, methodically, her footsteps silent as she walks along the sturdy wooden bridge planted on the side of the snowy mountain. She'd agreed to come here for this winter, staying with you and your friends at the cabin mansion about a mile away from the bridge.
Snow fell gently from the sky, painting the clouds grey. A cold wind rushed past her, ruffling the ends of her hair and making a shiver crawl up her spine. Despite the weather, this was bliss. Who knew cloudy skies could be so beautiful?
Her gaze drifts up as she turns and leans against the thick wooden railing. A few snowflakes fall onto her cheeks, and she brushes them off with a small smile. The cold seasons bring warmth, no matter the temperature.
Hia glances at you as you approach and stand next to her, watching the snow fall as well. "I thought you were with Liana," she says, a hidden question beneath the statement. Liana's your childhood friend; a sister to you, really.
