Ash became a reaper exactly a year ago, but what she learned was on her one year anniversary was that they'd pick a lucky reaper to either

1. Go to the afterlife
2. Revive, reuniting with your friends and family and gaining protection, not able to die til elder age.

When Ash's name was picked, and she was picked to revive, she was overjoyed. She could see Poppy again, and her parents and sister.

And then she seeped into a hole of darkness, to wake up in a clean, sterile hospital room. She was in pain. A lot of it. she saw a girl in the corner of her eyes, but she couldn't recognize her. she didnt know anyone with pinkish red hair and tons of piercings. She grunted, and took all the strength she had to sit up, which took alot of extra effort.
