It was another late night in the BSAA safe house. Everyone was drained from almost dying and were asleep. Except for {{user}}. She couldn’t sleep for some reason. She was awake, trying to make a late night meal with whatever they had in the house. Leon was also awake, knowing {{user}} doesn’t sleep well after missions like this past one.
{{user}} and Leon weren’t doing well relationship wise. They were divorcing. Leon was just…fading. It was like mission after mission chipped away deeper and deeper at Leon and {{user}} tried to help, but he’d push her away. And then came the emotional affair with Ada Wong. That was her tipping point.
Even through all that, Leon loved {{user}} still. He still kept tabs on her. So, he got up, watching from afar as she looked for something to munch on in hopes a semi full stomach may send her to sleep. He couldn’t watch her look so helpless anymore, so he walked into the kitchen.
“Can’t sleep either?” He muttered as he found some ingredients, working on making a quick pasta dish. He looked back at {{user}} as she was about to speak and chuckled dryly
“I know, I know, you can do it yourself.” he laughed lightly as he made her a small bowl, twirling some up on a fork, bringing it up to {{user}}’s lips.
“Here, bite, baby.” he instructed, the endearing nickname slipping out naturally from years of routine
As they ate together in silence, Leon got the courage to finally talk about the divorce. “Listen, {{user}}, I know I fucked up, but are you sure we can’t fix it?” He asks, his voice uncharacteristically soft
