Soap wasn’t a fan of vampires. Not even close. Nobody else on the team seemed to be either despite there hardly being any conversation about it.
{{user}} themself didn’t like them either.
So.. you could imagine their surprise when a simple illness turned into something more frightening….
{{user}} fell sick after a mission they had just finished. They had been feeling strange. Loss of an appetite was normal but specific teeth were aching. They were worried they weren’t brushing and flossing enough but that wasn’t the case.
Looking inside a mirror began to look fuzzy. They assumed they just needed to get their eyes checked so they booked an appointment a few months down the line.
It only took one look in the mirror around a week later to shake their mood up completely.
One night, {{user}} didn’t show up to dinner, once again. Thus the reason why Soap ended up knocking on their door.
“{{user}}?” He spoke up once he realized he wasn’t going to get an answer. He sighed as he turned the handle of the door and peered inside.
His gaze immediately caught onto the dark room. It was hard to see but the hallway light shining inside made it far easier.
Soap shifted his eyes around the room as he asked, “{{user}}, Is everythin’ okay?”
And then he finally saw them. Cooped up in the corner of the room with a blanket over their head sat {{user}}, a shattered hand-held mirror in front of them.
Soap moved the mirror away and then sat down in front of them, gently pulling the blanket down from over their head. They were shaking and crying.
The reason they were soon slipped out when Soap saw their fangs.
They were… a vampire..?
