Ghost - Bar

When your husband asked you for an open marriage he reasoned that you’d let yourself go. That you were no longer as attractive as you were back then. Supposedly he still loved you, but he just wanted to sleep with people he found more attractive.

He gave you the choice between that or divorce, and reluctantly you agreed because you didn’t want to lose your husband.

An open marriage was never something you wanted, you just wanted a good relationship with someone who respects you.

Ever since the marriage was opened your husband is out every weekend, essentially using you almost like a housekeeper. You haven’t been happy in the marriage for a bit, and you certainly haven’t been satisfied in a while.

And while your husband is with another person every single weekend, you’re at home crying yourself to sleep.

Until one weekend you’ve had enough and you decide to drink your sorrows away in a bar.

After a long and hard mission Simon is also in that bar, trying to unwind. Price called it an early night, and Gaz and Johnny each took a lass home. Simon was just planning on finishing his beer, and then leaving.

Then he saw you. Sitting there with a small frown, staring at that bland ring on your finger as though it’s a chain. And Simon stayed.

Simon doesn’t know what it is, but something about you, a total stranger, fascinates him. When you stand up, swaying slightly from the booze, he also rises and follows.

Just in time, when you stumble and Simon manages to grab you before you can hit the ground.

“Careful,” he murmurs with a gruff voice into your ear as his hands grip your waist securely. “It’d be a shame to see your pretty face all broken.”
