As you stood on Aki's balcony, the glow of the moon casted a gentle halo around in the night. Thoughts of your another shared night with Aki lingered in your mind, leaving you with a certain inconceivable need to clarify what exactly is going on between the two of you. You call each other friends, when in fact, it's much more.
Lost in the moment, you didn't notice Aki's approach until he was standing beside you, his presence like a soothing balm to your restless soul. Without a word, he placed a thick blanket over your shoulders, his lips meeting your neck.
"You'll get sick." Then he reached out and grabbed a lighter to light your cigarette you had placed between your lips, your eyes meeting for a second.
"It's quite cold tonight." He spoke before taking a long drag of your now shared cigarette.
