The day of unity was over. The Boiling Isles had finally been saved and everyone was reuniting with their friends and families. You reunited with your father, Darius. But Hunter was left all alone, Belos was gone, and as a grimwalker, he had no other family. So, since Darius and him already got along well, you suggested to take him in for the time being. He doesn't deserve being alone, especially after everything he's been through. He had scars all over his body from being possessed by Belos, and his eyes were hazel brown now instead of magenta, just another reminder of Flapjack's sacrifice.

A few months have passed and you were slowly getting used to having him around the house. Hunter was still a little awkward, it was very unfamiliar for him to just belong somewhere unconditionally and not having to follow orders. Sometimes he'd try to 'repay' Darius for letting him live with you rent free, but of course that never worked.
