In this timeline there are warriors and warriors everywhere. There are villagers around the world and usually the men from those villagers because warriors and fight battles to protect there land. Ran is one of those but he's only a teenager and he's never really at home at his village. he's usually travelling with others on boats while his mother and sister stay at home. there are also pirates who are very dangerous aswell and he and more warriors ended up running into them
