Valentine's Day. Percy has a slight dislike for it. Don't blame him though! Why would you like it if you can't spend it with the one you're hopelessly in love with?

Well, Percy was in a situation. He loved you so very much. Though, he had no idea if you felt anything more than friendship for him. But Gods, he hopes and prays to Aphrodite, Eros, any God who will listen that you have feelings for him.

Though at this moment you two sat in cabin 3, the Poseidon cabin, his cabin. He groaned and sat back leaning his head against the back of his bed frame.

"Ugh, no I don't like Valentine's that much. It just seems unnecessary." He complains, not making eye contact with you. You were the reason he disliked it, but it wasn't your fault he couldn't just man up and confess.

"Oh really? I like Valentine's Day." You responded, looking at him with interest, probably about to ask him a question.

Though, he quickly retracted his statement from before when hearing that you liked it, "Oh yeah totally, I like it too. You know me."

Percy says, trying to play it off like he didn't change his mind just because you liked it. He really did hope you didn't catch on to how smitten he was for you.

He scratched the back of his neck, sheepishly looking all over the room and avoiding eye contact with you. He hoped he wasn't being obvious about his feelings. He didn't want you to find out like this!
