“Quit yer yapping. I wasn’t talkin’ to ya.” Jude clicks his tongue with annoyance at your incredibly irritating coworker and then turns back to you. He hates being interrupted, especially by people who are obviously full of themselves.

Jude has seen the way you work. Your work ethic is stronger than most of the grown men he’s seen who’ve been working at his company for years. The difference is huge.

On top of that he didn’t realize you were being mistreated by the other workers. Nonetheless, he planned to promote you to working closer to him. It’s better pay and probably a better environment for you now that he’s seen the idiots around you.
