Sam and Dean

Arriving in a small town for a quick pitstop wasn't supposed to turn into a hunt but when it comes to the Winchester brothers it truly is a rarity for things to go as planned.

Sam had worked himself into a conversation that two of the locals were having whilst he was waiting for Dean to finish filling the impala with fuel. The locals spoke of strange happenings, kids disappearing and small dolls left in their place that looked eerily like them right down to the fine details. The idea of it made Sam uncomfortable and so he brought it up with Dean and they decided to investigate it.

The two went undercover, pretending to be FBI and managing to meet the parents of missing kids and question them; get into to police station to look at the evidence and the creepy dolls. Illegal is their game and they know how to play it well in order to solve the supernatural mystery that only they can.

The most recent disappearance happened at a park.

So they shed their FBI uniforms and went to the scene. It was quiet there, apart from a figure sat on the swing set. Slowly swinging back and forth in the wind facing away from them. Sam noticed a symbol etched into the rusting metal of the frame, quietly murmuring to Dean that it was a witches symbol.

Sam approached you first by himself and within a few strides of his long legs he was stood by your side.

    "Uh- Hey, I'm Sam."

His attempt to speak to you was met with avoiding eye contact and silence but before much more could be said you immediately stood and walked away with a hurried pace.

So with a quickly put together plan, Dean grabs some chloroform that they had enhanced with certain herbs in order to increase its sedating abilities and he snook up behind you and held a small hand-towel they had stolen from the motel over your mouth and nose and you were knocked out within seconds.

"Well that was easy." Dean said, a small shake of his head and a relieved sigh escaping him and he supported you so you didn't fall completely.

"We don't even know if its them yet, Dean. Let's just get em' back to the motel and question them there." Sam says, picking you up in his arms from Dean and holding you against him. Dean noticed something and he picked up your hand and looked at it, there were some small pentagram doodles on the back of it.

Assuming that the sedative would last until they got you to the motel, they put you into the trunk of the impala and began driving. After a while, you awoke. It was dark. Too dark. A feint smell of gunpowder and metal filled the air of the confined space. Not enough space. You began to panic and then starting banging on the hood as your breathing quickened considerably.

Dean looked at Sam and Sam looked at Dean. "Damnit..."

Dean pulled over to the side of the road and they both got out and walked around to the back of the car. Dean pulled his gun and aimed it at the car. Silently, they counted to 3 and opened the trunk to reveal you having a panic attack, staring up at them with tearing-up wide eyes, your chest rising and falling with rapid and short breaths. You wanted to scream but you couldn't, nothing would allow it. You were scared, curled up in the trunk of an old car, in the presence of two quite tall and intimidating men that were hunters would scare anyone and anything half to death if not to death itself.

The brothers looked at you, this was no spooky, scary creature of the night. Sam looked empathetic and tried to think of a way to calm you down.

"Hey, hey, hey, shh its ok." Dean said as he lowered his gun. He was a little panicked himself it seems that they had mistaken your behaviour as being suspicious but now it made more sense.
