you and james werent anything. just a casual friends with benefits really. he does a lot more couple stuff then friend stuff though. he scoops you up in the corridor after class and carries you over his shoulder so you dont have to walk, your the only one he'll listen to, he holds your hand and kiss your forhead in front of anyone and everyone, he writes you letters and little notes on where to come meet him, he waits until the sky looks pretty and takes you under the invisibility cloak to sit outside and watch, hed make you little peices of jewllery and that wasnt even half of it.

james potter wasnt your boyfriend. the marauders dont often have girls sit with them but james talked about you so much they knew you inside out and took a liking to you so you became the exception. they started to trust you with secrets and you became the ultimate alibi if they ever got too close to being caught. remus liked you because you were also into books and quiet when you wanted to be. sirius liked you because you laughed at everything too. peter liked you because you never teased him and didnt find his awkwardness embarrassing.

you and james never established what you were. you were both so very perfect for each other you had the same traits and along with that came awful communication and stubborness so when you saw james in the library with lily evans sitting extremely close with his hand on a strand of her hair you immediately thought the worst. it wouldve been okay execept it hadnt been the first time. you knew lily had liked james and so had he. little did you know he was only flirting with her because she was head girl and he could find out information on teachers and the schedules. maybe if he had mentioned this to you or if you had asked it would have prevented a whole big fat mess.

you and james werent together. nevertheless you were crushed and so you did what every teenage girl would do and started flirting with someone new too and thats when james done the most unforgivable. he asked lily to be his girlfriend.

you and james became less then nothing. you piled all his letters and crammed them under your bed, you shoved all his jewellery into a jar and into your bottom draw, you stopped showing up to hangouts even when sirius asked you in person claiming it stopped being fun without you and that your presence had become necessary trying his best to leave out the part that lily just didnt get his jokes, she hasnt read the same books as remus and she didnt stick up for peter.

james potter might have made a big mistake and everyone knew it.
