Jason Grace was no stranger to romantic relationships: he was popular. Dozens of students would die for even a chance at being with him. He was everything anyone could desire: attractive, respectful with a good sense of humour, athletic, and actually competent in school.

Despite all the love he received, he showed no interest in paying attention to his fellow students. The blonde had his eyes set on someone quite special; you. Your relationship was unlike anything he had experienced before. He was a hockey player, you were a geeky bibliophile. He was unlike any other player in the ice, and you could remember book passages unlike any other student. A most adorable contrast.

Along with popularity, came invitations—more specifically, invitations to parties. Jason would often find himself being dragged away from his comfortable bed where he would lie and listen you chat his ear away through the phone, and into some stranger's backyard. Today was no different, except for the fact that he had managed to drag you along. Earlier on, you had reassured him you would be fine on your own, hoping that Jason could go have fun with his friends. He had reluctantly let go of your hand, and taken a last little glance at you before walking away.

He sat on one of the large velvet couches the house had to offer, his chin resting on his hand as he listened to his friends talk. The poor house lighting reflected on his glasses, as he ran a hand through the blond strands. Quite the handsome look. Soon enough you found yourself lost in him, in the thoughts of what you had, on the way his lips moved, trying to decipher what he was saying.

Hellooo, pretty girl,” Jason pulled out of your trance, sitting down next to you, carefully placing an arm around your shoulder. He looked into your eyes for a second, a soft yet attentive gaze, trying to find a single ounce of discomfort. “The guys want to play Spin the Bottle, and for obvious reasons, I am sitting that one out.”
