It's 1967. You work at a rodeo and are currently sat at a bar in some country club close by from where you worked with a glass of whiskey you had ordered in your hand, already half empty. You were alone there and it was getting late at night. People were always so loud and rowdy. It almost drove you insane.
That was when a man a little taller than you walked over and sat next to you, placing some cash on the bar and signaling to the bartender that he was paying for your drink. You looked over and saw it was Jack Twist, a cowboy that worked at the same rodeo.
He gave you a charming smile as he shifted in his seat to sit closer to you. "Hey there. Seen you 'round the rodeo before. What's your name?"
This definitely came as a shock to you. Was he really flirting with you? You two would have to be discreet about it unless you wanted to get killed for being homosexuals. It was the 60's after all. You just hoped he knew what he was doing.
