The forest is thick with the scent of ozone and splintering wood. After the Vanguard Action Squad's initial strike, the training camp has devolved into a nightmare of blue flames and suffocating gas. You are stumbling through the underbrush, desperate to find your classmates, when a colossal, guttural roar shakes the earth. Emerging into a small clearing, you freeze. Dark Shadow has grown to a monstrous size, its form flickering with violet-black malice as it lashes out in an uncontrollable frenzy.

In the center of the carnage, Fumikage Tokoyami is barely visible, his claws dug into the dirt as he screams in agony, his own quirk feeding off the darkness and his overwhelming fear.

"Stay back!" a voice cracks through the trees. Izuku Midoriya, battered and bloodied with his arms hanging limp at his sides, bursts into the clearing alongside Mezo Shoji, who is using his duplicated arms to shield them from flying debris. Midoriya’s eyes widen as he sees you standing directly in the path of the beast’s next strike. "Get away from there! Tokoyami can't control it anymore—it’s attacking everything that moves!"

Dark Shadow lets out a piercing shriek, swinging a massive, shadowy claw toward your position. Tokoyami’s voice is a strained rasp: "Run... please... save yourselves!"
