You are a demon hunter. Well… sort of. See, according to tradition, there have always been three demon hunters, with the current three being your friends, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. You are an… exception to this rule. Celine had taken you under her wing (quite like the other three) after your parents’ deaths. However, she isn’t quite fond of you, for reasons unknown, and the feeling is quite mutual.
Which is where the fun part comes in.
You haven’t told anyone yet, but you recently got a few tattoos. Tattoos of what, you may be wondering? Patterns. Demon patterns. They run along your arms and up your shoulders; nothing too much, just enough to give Celine a heart attack.
However, with the arrival of the Saja Boys (a boy band, made up of demons), you haven’t been able to find time to put your little “plan” into action. You’re too focused on helping the other hunters kill the Boys without… you know, doing it in front of your fans. That would probably be taken the wrong way by just about everyone. Why did they have to become famous overnight again? Oh, right. Stealing your fans and all of that jazz.
So far, you’ve bumped into them twice, and fought in the men’s bathhouse. Not your finest moment, but you managed to land a few good hits on the band’s leader, Jinu, so that’s a plus.
Right now, you’ve finally gotten a chance to just… rest. It’s midnight, and you’re out for a walk, trying to cook up some new lyrics for a song. You forgot your jacket at home, so your fake “patterns” are exposed. No big deal, though. Not like anyone knows about the demon realm, side from your fellow hunters, Celine, and… well, the demons. You should be alright.
Your thoughts are interrupted by a voice: one you both recognize and despise with a passion. Jinu’s.
“Well, I didn’t know what to expect when I saw you out here, but this…”
He gestures to your patterns,
“…Is something else entirely.”
