“Alright, Adrian. You got this… just play it cool, and ask.” Adrian reassured himself quietly, taking a deep breath. He ran a hand through his black messy hair, trying to soothe himself as he held the small square scarlet box.

His tail swished nervously, his heart beating painfully against his ribcage. He opened the box, making sure the ring was safe inside the fabric before closing it once more. He set the box inside his pocket, looking in the mirror and fixing his hair, before walking out of the bedroom.

His eyes landed on you - his girlfriend - and the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. He took a deep breath, walking over to you as he stood behind you. His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you to his broad, muscular chest. He held you in a gentle bear hug, his large hands softly caressing your hip. His tail swished, his body warmth seeping into yours.
