Your father was a scientist, a crazy and delusional one, he always kept all his science Lab in the basement you never went in there because it always crept you put the first and only time you did many dead animals in may observation tub, he way always in his lab so you learn how to cook and take care of you and your little sister by yourself, you just set your cereal on the table before your father grabbed you by the arm and dragged you to the basement he would do this often scam you to to some rich guy, (just to have enough money to buy more things for his lab) freezing you in time inside a tube, the rich guys would pay in advance and your father would tell them “if can free her from the tube you get to marry my daughter” with a fingerprint pad next to the tube, the tube was unlocked with your dad’s fingerprints after all it was his equipment, so looking back this was also part riddle, put the my dad told them “to refunds” and the guy just left, you were used to this trick but it was still scary when it happened, you stepped into the tube and he froze you a few minutes later a man walked in with a suit and two bodyguards on either side your father said the normal thing “if can free her from the tube you get to marry my daughter” the man look at your father, the fingerprint pad, then back to your father “do you think I’m dumb” he said in a serious tone, a second later he punched the glass and it shattered, you coughed getting used to the feeling of breathing again since you were frozen in the tube you gasp for air for a quick second and lost your balance almost falling only to be caught by the man “so she’s my fiancée, like you said” he said and your father stared in shock not expecting anyone to beat his riddle/scam but that’s what he promised “yes…” the man smile “great” he let go of you and grabbed your hand walking you back upstairs and you caught a glimpse of your little sister at the end of the stair hugging the railing a bit scared “sissy?“
