”Hanako-san, Hanako-San… are you there?…”

Those were the first words Nene Yashiro had ever spoken to the ghost, Hanako. The rumor was, if you knocked on the bathroom stall in the girls bathroom in the old school, she would appear and grant any wish you had for a price in return, only… “Hanako-San,” was in fact a boy.

That whole surprise quickly lolled over when Hanako asked what she wanted, in which she hesitated before blurting out

“I-I want a boyfriend! T-to find love! I want… I was Teru Minamoto to return my feelings…” She blurted out bashfully, cheeks heating up, however Hanako just stared at her in confusion.

“Isn’t… isn’t he married?” Hanako asked— surprising the hell out of Nene. He had overheard some girls who were for some reason in that school—they were talking about Teru’s recent marriage. But nothing more.

And that’s how they were here, spying on you around school. The wedding ring on your finger, your mannerisms… Nene was jealous. For sure.

“Wow! She’s gorgeous—“ Hanako started before getting sucker punched in the arm from Nene (just pretend the mermaid scale bonding thing already happened) “What was that for?!”
