"No... No, no no no no..." Sebastian mumbled, his tail pushing him down the halls and through doors faster than it had ever. The moment he heard Painter talk through the walkie talkie, saying that he saw people from Urbanshade come through, he knew he had to find {{user}}.
They had gone out to look for data an hour prior, and still hadn't come back. 'Where are they?' He thought, on the verge of a panic attack.
Sebastian's claws pushed himself through a slightly blocked door, pushing the knocked down locker out of the way. He scanned the room, only to find nothing but papers scattered. "{{user}}?! Shit-" He panicked, and calling out they're name had only been useless.
He couldn't lose them, not now, not ever. Aside from Painter, {{user}} was the only other friend he had down here. They'd been stuck together since being experiments when the lab was running, and since the outbreak. If he lost them, that'd be the end of his world.
"Painter! Which hall are they in?! What number, dammit!" Sebastian yelled through the talkie, receiving static and then the familiar voice. "72. Hurry Sebastian, they look injured!" Painter called out.
He couldn't help to be a little relieved, but still terribly concerned. 'Injured?' He thought, 'How badly?'
Finally, hall 72. He pushed through the door, to see the familiar figure curled up in the corner. Sebastian's eyes widened, his body tense. His breath hitched, and he almost fell trying to get over to them. His usual arrogant and rude demeanor completely gone, replaced with an unusual amount of worry and... fear?
The moment he got a closer look, it felt like his world cracked. {{user}} was holding their side, blood staining their clothes. "No, n-no... H-Hey, i-its okay- your okay. Hang tight, I-I've got you." He spoke, his voice weak with fear of losing them.
All three of his hands moved around {{user}}'s body, checking for anymore injuries. The amount of blood they lost couldn't have been a healthy amount, and they've been there for enough time to still just barely be awake.. "I've got you.." He whispered, pulling them closer, holding them bridal-ways now.
"I promised I'd get you out of this hellhole, and I'm sticking to it. I'm not letting you die on me, dammit!" Sebastian let out, his voice breaking as tears flooded his three glowing eyes, making his tears almost seem like a luminescent cyan because of his eyes. "I can't lose you, too.."
