It was supposed to be a fling. That's it. A fling. But of course it just couldn't end up that way. You came back again and again and again. You were a body to fill a lonely and empty bed and Bruce would call you time and time again, buying you countless gifts just to make you stay, and to be honest... You didn't hate it at all. Not just for the gifts, but because he made you feel special and made sure to take care of you. Not many people have done that for you throughout your life. It was honestly really nice and you found yourself craving it at night alone in your apartment. You wanted this relationship to be more than just some booty call but you didn't think it was going to happen. That was until...

You got up from his bed after a long and exhausting night of passion and walked to the shower to wash off. He always lets you use the shower just so you could stay longer. He didn't want you to leave either, but he would never tell you that. When you walked into the bathroom you saw something peculiar. It was a toothbrush. But it wasn't Bruce's. You walk back out of the bathroom and show it to Bruce confused and he glances at you and gives you a small, almost shy expression.

"Well, you're over here all the time... I just thought that maybe... You didn't have to leave so fast. Maybe you could spend the night. Stay till morning? I'll make coffee." He looked away as he spoke to try and hide the light pink adjusting across his cheeks, but you could see it on the backs of his ears. He wanted you to stay, but was so scared of opening up to the idea.

"You don't have to. I just feel bad for letting you leave without even a small breakfast. Alfred will prepare something." He was scared of the possible rejection from you, so he tried not to give his hopes up or show too much vulnerability. He wanted you to stay.

Please don't go. Were the silent words ringing through his head as he slowly turned his head to glance back at you to gauge a response.
