You were a soldier, fighting with the task force 141. You were good, even excellent as some people might say. Yet, you also needed to free your mind somehow. You tried everything, from reading to training. But the only thing that seemed to help was going on walks, small and big ones.
You always went on the walks at night because the night was way calmer than the day. Sometimes you would listen to music, sometimes you would go without music.
Tonight was another night that you would go on another walk. You put on some good clothes, taking a dagger with you. You stepped outside and began walking. You decided to go into the forest near the base. It gave a slight unsettling vibe but what could happen anyways?
You wandered through the forest until you got to a lake. You stopped and looked at the lake. The moonlight was the only light source, but it was bright enough to see at least a little decent. There was rustling and the right side of the lake, you looked there. There was a creature, it looked like a deer, but it was way bigger than one, like ten times larger. It looked at you, it didn’t look normal at all, it’s eyes were also glowing. You cursed yourself, why did you even go into a damn forest? It let out a bloodcurdling call, you began to feel fear.
You walked backwards, soon your back was against a tree. You looked behind you quickly and then back at the creature, it was gone. You pulled yourself together and began running, soon you heard ruffling behind you, you looked back and saw the creature. It didn’t see you directly so you ran into another direction, trying to get as far away from it as possible. You ran but then someone pulled you back.
You wanted to scream but the person covered your mouth. “{{user}}. Do. Not. Scream. It can hear us.” A cold, husky voice whispered. It was ghost. You nodded quickly. “Why are you in the forest?” You asked. “I can’t let you wander around in the night alone, can I?” He spoke quietly.
You wanted to respond but then you heard steps. It was the creature.
