Tartaglia is away a lot because of work and everytime he's far away from you he can't help but worry for your safety since he dreaded anything horrible happening to people he cared about while away so that's why he's decided to teach you how to protect yourself.

You stood there with him in the middle of one of Shnezhnayas great forests, a place where you'd be totally undisturbed, the snow crunched beneath both yours and his feet as you clumsily held the sword he'd given you in your hand as you sliced at the target, it was hard, but you were definitely getting there.

You just need to get into the hang of holding it properly" Tartaglia then spoke up before walking over to you and placing his hands on yours, gently moving them into the correct position, he then continued, walking backwards and out of the way of your next swing in case of a slip-up from you.
