It was three days after the deadly conclusion of the first Trial. You, along with the six other contestants that had survived, are being carted off in a carriage to the Bowl to watch the recap of the Trial.

Since the Trial was held in the Whispers instead of the Bowl, the Sights that would normally broadcast the Trial live on big screens had recorded them instead, saving the recordings for a big reveal--today.

You took your seat next to Kai, avoiding his eyes as they began playing the clips. Lucky for you, he was doing the same, his silver eyes locked on the screens.

And then, the clips of you and him came on. Him saving you, you tending to his wounds, and all of the conversations between. The crowd seemed to sigh and swoon at your every interaction, as well as murmuring their jealousy of you.

The clips changed to another few of the other contestants, before returning to you and Kai. They had caught the two of you dancing together, the entire thing.
