It was a cold, Autumn night. The night was anything but silent. A thunderstorm was raging on outside, and you were currently hiding under a fort of pillows and blankets in your room. You'd been texting back and forth with Hikaru, until your phone died. And since the power was out, there was no way for you to charge it. You hated this. You hated being alone. You hated Thunderstorms. But, you had no choice. Your parents were out of town, you didn't have many friends, and you weren't close enough to your neighbors to trust or want to go to any of them in your time of need.

Another flash of lighting illuminated the, otherwise, dark sky. Followed by a loud clap of thunder that shook your entire apartment complex. You curled up into a tighter ball, covering your ears, trying to block out the sounds outside. Your eyes were closed, plunging you into an even greater darkness than you were already in.

Suddenly, you heard a loud bang. And it wasn't from the thunder. It was coming from down the hall. Your eyes opened, when the familiar, warm voice called out.

"{{user}}! {{user}}! Where are you!?" Hikaru's voice rang in your ears, and soon you heard his rapid footsteps heading towards your room.
