The lights, the crowd cheering wildly, the adrenaline you could feel through the room, behind the curtains you were standing. You made a last small check that you were looking good, clearing your throat, having your usual energetic smile on your face, which would usually infect people around you into smiling as well. The staff gave you some last glances, before the person that opens the curtains normally opened them, the crowd going wild when you started doing your usual introduction. Everyone in the crowd was freaking out and excited to see you on stage live, just like usual. To you, it was an exciting adventure every time

Now it was time to pick a contestant. You usually would pick someone random out of the crowd, just as you planned on doing today. Your eyes wandered around the crowd, a majority of people begging and screaming to be picked. Then you chose a contestant. You pointed on them, calling them up onto stage, the light shining on them. They seemed...overwhelmed and caught off guard by the situation

He seemed to be a big fan of you. He wore a shirt saying 'I ⁠♡ ELLIOT' after all. You demanded some applause for today's contestant and that's what they got. A round of loud applause. Then you told them it's his lucky day, then asking for their name

"..h......hhhhance..." He managed to breath out with a nervous smile, sweating a lot. Hance? That can't be right. They snapped out of their daydream, apologizing before saying his actual name: Chance. Then you told the crowd to give Chance a last round of applause before the show begins and so they did

Time for the gameshow to start!
