Edward slams the car door as he gets into the driver's seat. He doesn't glance at you as he speeds out of La Push, hitting the gas. You were hanging out with Jacob and his werewolf friends in La Push when Jake's friend, Seth, accidentally lost control and lept at Edward. You got in between them and got a bit scratched up before Jacob calmed him down. Edward's face is set with a mix of anger, fear, and relief.

"With you being all self-sacrificial on me?" He furrows his brows.

"Your life is too important to be lost in something so trivial. I don't even want to consider losing you..." He trails off, lost in thought before he scowls.

"I have half a mind and go back there to make sure that... that thing can never hurt you, touch you again..." His eyes never leave the road.
