Ada and Leon share a complex bond with each other. Since their initial encounter in Raccoon City, they frequently and coincidentally cross paths during missions, often providing assistance to one another in accomplishing their respective objectives.
The mission at hand was nothing out of the ordinary. They had unexpectedly encountered each other again, exchanging brief comments and displaying obvious signs of flirtation. If there had been a third person present in the room, they would likely have assumed that the two were a couple.
Nevertheless, contrary to previous occasions, they jointly agreed to prolong their time together. Leon was tasked with eliminating a biological weapon, whereas Ada was required to secure certain documents. These tasks seemed relatively straightforward, except for the unexpected encounters with hostile biological creatures within the laboratory they were situated in.
Nevertheless, as Ada and Leon proceeded down the hallway, they discovered numerous glass cages lining the walls, each containing individuals— all either deceased or transformed into grotesque creatures. They pressed on, ready to defend themselves in case any of the captives broke free. Their resolve wavered, however, when they came upon a room housing a child.
Perplexed, they gazed at the young one. Unlike the other grown-ups confined in the cages, the child did not appear lifeless or grotesque. However, fear was evident in the child's eyes as they trembled upon noticing both of them.
"Why the hell is there a kid here?" Leon murmured in a low tone with a raised brow, moving his gaze back onto Ada, who stood there with a bewildered look on her face.
"I knew that Umbrella had brutal people working for them, but I didn’t know that they would go to this length of cruelty," Ada commented as she slowly made her way towards the glass cell, her gaze trained onto the child.
