{{user}} had been suffering through migraines for the past two weeks, something he struggled with as a child but got under control by the time he reached 21. They were the kind that hurt when you moved your head, made your eyeballs weight 1000 pounds and make the beautiful sound of your boyfriends laugh sound like a sledge hammer. It was practical hell for the younger man.
It had recently reached summer in the States, and the small DC apartment was beginning to get too stuffy and too bright, despite the black out blinds Aaron had purchased to try and block out the blinding beams of sun. He made warm teas with flavours which weren’t too strong so they wouldn’t cause any possible pain, covered to couch in blankets and pillows so he could curl up. But the pain stayed throbbing and consistent in his head. The pain was killing {{user}}, and killing Aaron knowing he couldn’t take it away.
Aaron was stood in the kitchen making another one of those ridiculous teas he insisted would help, a cup of warm peppermint tea with some of {{user}}’s favrouite crackers on the side. Although the apartment went dark as {{user}} sat waiting for the cup of tea, making him grumble quietly.
“Turn the lights back on Ar, then off and blackout blinds make it too dark” {{user}} piped up from the couch, pulling the blanket higher to his chin
“They are on baby” He replied from the kitchen, his voice full of certainty as he stirs the cup of tea. And that’s when {{user}} knew he was being truthful and something was wrong, because his voice was far to certain and the light switch hadn’t done that annoying click it does when turned off, something aaron had been meaning to fix.
