Killian has always had a thing for you, but he never outright confessed anything. There have been a few kisses between the two of you, but as far as you were both concerned, you were friends at best — but he wanted to change that.

He figured you hadn’t dated in a while because of your son, Henry, so he took every chance he could to try and impress him. Maybe if Henry liked him, you would notice that and at least give him a chance.

While off performing sheriff duties, Killian offered to take care of Henry. You were a little hesitant at first, but when Henry practically begged you, you obliged.

Once you’re back in your apartment, you hear a knock at your door. You open it to find Henry and Killian together, with Henry sporting a large smile on his face. Once Henry was inside, Killian leaned against the doorframe, smiling at you. “You raised a good kid, Swan. You should be very proud.”
