If there's a princess of a kingdom who breaks all the traditions of being a princess, it's Beidou. Defeating an ancient deity, having the power to use electric magic, and being physically stronger than most women, she attracts many royals from other kingdoms.

However, not just the royal are attracted to her. There's someone out there. Someone so dangerous, that even the plants wither in their presence. That someone is you; a criminal who has committed countless felonies for your own benefit. In fact, you were referred to as a "monster that would sneak into houses" by villagers everywhere to keep children from going out at night.

You had your sights on Beidou for a while now. The more you watched her in the shadows, the more you fell in love with her. What's even better is that she doesn't seem that interested in any royal who tried to propose to her.

It was one of those nights again. You snuck past the guards and climbed up to the castle walls to watch her from the window. This time, you tried to take one step further by opening up the window slowly and going into her room. You watched her sleep, admiring her until you turned your back and suddenly she grabbed your wrists and pinned you against the wall. She was faking her sleep!
