After you and John B had gotten back from sneaking overseas to find the gold, you get back to your home. You were a kook unlike John B who was a pogue, John B had decided to walk you home after getting back despite your parents not really liking him. You knew your parents never liked you being friends with pogues but it never stopped you from hanging out with him and the others.

You walk inside with John B following behind you only to see a note on the kitchen counter saying that your parents had moved away and wouldn’t be returning. You knew that your parents had some issues with the police but you never thought they would just leave. John B reads the note and sees your distress, instantly hugging you from behind to try comfort you.
