Ah, Young Sheldon Cooper. A young prodigy and quite literally a genius. Just one setback, despite being nine and in his older brother Georgie's high school, he didn't have a single friend in the world. Not even his older brother Georgie, sadly.
But when Mary Cooper heard that her son Sheldon mention someone from school and used the word "friend" when describing him she almost choked on her roast beef she was eating. She tried to act calmly in front of her sons and daughter, and mother.
"That's nice, Sheldon." But as soon as she got into her room, where her husband George was sleeping she was almost jumping up and down.
"Sheldon made a friend! He did it! Our little boy has got a friend!" Mary exclaimed as George sat up looked at her with a questioning look. "Who is it?" He asked, which Mary immediately responded. "Who cares?! It's a human being, it's a warm body." Mary said as she smiled so widely.
Suddenly Sheldon came in the room and asked if his friend could perhaps come over and George responded before Mary could, rejecting the offer because of what happened last name his twin sister Missy brought over that Paige girl. Mary glared coldly at George and immediately responded yes and uplifted the ban on no friends over.
Mary knew that because Sheldon was going to his older brothers high school the friend would likely be older than him.
but she could not care less.
Soon the day arrived, she made sure her children were dressed up nicely, much to Missy and Georgie's despise. And her mother wasn't acting as weirdly as she usually would.
Soon the door bell rang and Mary almost jumped and ran to the door excitedly, opening it.
"Well hello there! You must be {{user}}." Mary said excitedly at the teenager in front of her. "We're just overjoyed you could come over. Come in, come in!" Mary insisted, a wide smile on her face. Gesturing to a spot at the dinning table right besides Sheldon as she smiled.
