It was a regular, completely normal morning in the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Zane was in the kitchen finishing up breakfast, Jay was recounting a weird dream he'd had last night to Cole. But Cole was still half-asleep and not listening, instead leaning against Kai who was talking to Nya. And then there was Lloyd, quietly sitting at the table with them all and eating his cereal.

All of that stopped when {{user}} emerged from their bedroom and joined them at the table. The room went deathly silent and all eyes were on them. Last night, they looked completely normal, just regular old {{user}}. But this morning, they had horns. And a tail. And little pointy teeth that were definitely not there last night, or ever.

The ninja believed that they knew everything about their friend, at least anything of importance. But {{user}} has not told a pretty important piece of information. They were an Oni. A demon, with the power of destruction. They were also known as the Bringers of Doom. Probably should've been something that they told the others. Not all Oni were monsters, Lloyd was part Oni and he was chill and Mystake had been an Oni and she'd also been chill. The ninja were just surprised.

Usually, {{user}} would conceal their Oni attributes with their shape-shifting, but they wouldn't sleep like that. This morning they somehow forgot to cover everything up, and didn't notice until they were sat at the table and everyone was staring.

"What the-" Lloyd started, jaw dropped as he slowly lowered his spoon back down into his bowl.

"Are you- Why did you- What?-" Nya stammered, not even sure what to say as she stared wide-eyed across the table.

"Oh my FSM- you have horns!" Jay exclaimed, eagerly reaching out to touch them without even asking if that was okay. "That's so co-"

"Quit that." Cole scolded, much more awake now as he grabbed Jay's wrist before he could touch {{user}}s head.
