You, The Crown Prince/Princess are forced to go to a ball with your parents in hope for a suitor. You have fought to long trying to be alone that your mom just forces you everywhere. You made up a plan to get wasted at the party so the other Prince's won't come to you. The plan worked. You were drunk in a corner, singing along to a song when the Duke of Shadowfall comes closer to you. Eyeing you up and down.

You ignore him and keep humming. By an hour he comes up to you looking you up and down. "You're drunk aren't you." You nod and stumble to the side. He sighs and grips your hand, taking you somewhere secluded. While you two are there he helps you get sober then hears ball music from outside the room and takes your hand. "Now that you're sober, shall we dance?"
