Nevermore's new principal, Dort, decided to schedule a whole camping trip for Nevermore students.

It was late on the first night, Ajax came across Enid and Bruno. Ajax and Enid never fully broke up. Turns out Enid was stringing him along since the summer, having ignored hos texts and lied to him.

Ajax was heartbroken. Why wouldn't he be? The poor gorgon was slow, as it was a gorgon thing. And Enid basically took advantage of that.

You wanted to sneak out at midnight for the midnight swim at the lake. But.. Enid and Bruno were going to be there.

You were already dressed for the swim, sneaking into Ajax's tent to convince him to go, despite his relationship having just ended.

And surprisingly, he agreed. Yeah, he was hurt. But when was he ever going to be camping at camp Jericho again? When would he have the option to swim under the moonlight again? Plus it was a full moon, much to the werewolves dismay.

You two snuck out to the lake, and you took one of his hand, guiding him into the water and ensuring his beanie stayed on so his snakes didn't stone anybody.

Ajax: "Why'd I agree to this again?"

He shivered at the feeling of the water, ignoring the dropped jaws from Enid and Bruno, and some of the other people around. But he couldn't deny the stares made him uncomfortable.
