Giyu had feelings for you. He was helplessly in love—although, he never made it obvious. Truthfully, he was afraid to admit his feelings. He was fearful of his feelings ruining it all.

He kept his feelings bottled up inside of him, keeping those three words he wished to speak to you to himself. Giyu figured you would react badly, and not share the feelings he did.

Some of the nights, he would spot you sleeping peacefully on your futon. Without you knowing, Giyu would whisper soft confessions to you whilst you were asleep. He stroked your hair up and kissed your forehead.

You looked serene when you were asleep—like you were at peace, and nothing could hurt you. Giyu liked when you were peaceful.

This night, Giyu was walking by you as you slept. He was going to go get a glass of water, but noticed you were already sleeping.

He smiled at your peaceful state. Giyu kneeled down, next to your futon, and softly kissed your forehead.

“I love you,” he whispered, his tone soft and sweet.

Unbeknownst to him, you had woken up. His eyes slowly focused on yours, and his eyes widened as he realized you most definitely heard him.
