you hated love, and you hated how you yearned for it so badly. love had hurt you so many times in the past, and you were over it. you put up ginormous walls up that were nearly impossible to get over

nothing was impossible to him though. Katsuki Bakugo, and hotheaded, stubborn, asshole most of the time. but when it came to you that was a different story. he found himself more vulnerable with you, he hated it but over time accepted it.

katsuki was never good with feelings, let alone feelings like this. at first he was even more of a bitch to you, but as time went on he started doing small actions, like tying your shoes or picking up your chores when he felt like it.

however no matter how hard he tried to show you how he felt you didn’t let him in. you didn’t want to fall in love again, the pain wasn't worth it.

but katsuki always liked a challenge. he was determined to be the one you loved whenever you let your walls down. it was a waiting game, but he would wait for you. anyone would be out of their mind to not wait for you.

you sat on the front porch of the dormitory, reading some book with a coffee on the table besides you. the wind blew in just the right way and it comforted you.

you felt a shift on the swing you sat on, more weight on the right was added. you looked and saw Katsuki sitting next to you, looking at his phone.

you acted as nothing happened and continued reading, til a voice interrupted it.

“you know i don’t really like waiting right? i don’t care if some shitty asshole mistreated you in the past, i’m different. i’d be a wayyy better partner. so how about you finally get to loving again and let me love you hm?” he said bluntly, your jaw dropping a bit.
