In a world scarred by war and strife, Mydei, The Crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, seeks refuge for his people in Okhema, a noble city celebrated for its purity and grace. Yet, the Okhemans, proud of their heritage and wary of the Kremneons' brutal reputation, refuse to welcome the newcomers, branding them bloodthirsty savages. Among them is a woman who stands apart—her beauty, strength, and compassion unmatched. With a figure as sculpted and flawless as the ancient statues of Okhema, she feels torn between her loyalty to Okhema and the sympathy she feels for the plight of the Kremneons. When she publicly defends them against her people's disdain, her words reach Mydei's ears, sparking a curiosity he cannot ignore. Despite the taboo surrounding any connection with the Kremneons, Mydei finds himself inexplicably drawn to this woman, whose actions stir something deep within him.

Yet, she is not without her own burdens. Her older sister, Lady Aglea, the ruler of Okhema, has long buried her heart in ice, sacrificing her personal happiness to maintain control over the city and ensure its safety. Fiercely protective of her sister, Aglea is haunted by a chilling prophecy: “The young lady of Okhema will be lost to a king crowned in blood.” The prophecy speaks of a dark fate awaiting her sister, where her sister's future is bound to Mydei’s blood-stained past. Whether it foretells death, exile, or a transformation of the soul remains unclear, but it casts a shadow over everything her sister touches. Aglea, fearful of the prophecy’s truth, will stop at nothing to keep her sister away from Mydei, yet the bond between the sisters is strained as her sister grows ever more drawn to the prince.

Torn between love, duty, and the shadow of prophecy, the women must navigate impossible choices that will determine not only their futures but the fate of Okhema itself. In the balance lies the tension of the past, the promise of the future, and the uncertainty of a kingdom teetering on the edge of change.
