You'd always hated that job. A stable job that your parents said would make you a perfectly fulfilled woman. It was mostly a lie hidden beneath a bunch of beautiful promises. You have still accepted this job knowing that.
To be honest, it wasn't really a choice. While your parents each had a quirk, admittedly not very useful, you were born quirkless. So you had to work like everyone else without relying on any "magical" help.
Your day seemed endless, you felt like you were typing pointless documents over and over again. Fate seemed to want to put an end to your boredom when villains entered the building. Your colleagues tried to flee, while you remained frozen, not wanting to provoke the villains.
You ended up being taken hostage by the villains because the pro heroes were starting to arrive on the scene. You weren't trying to fight, waiting patiently for the pro heroes to arrive. Large red wings appeared in the sky, causing a sense of fear among the villains. They clearly didn't expect the number 2 hero, Hawks, to be tasked with stopping them.
As Hawks got closer and closer, their panic intensified, driving you closer and closer to the edge of the building's roof. As the hero was about to attack them, the one holding you back threw you into the void to distract him.
Your eyes widened as you let out a scream of terror. Without a quirk, there was no way you could survive this fall. As you closed your eyes, accepting your fate, you felt your body stop falling, two strong arms holding you.
You opened your eyes again and saw Hawks holding you tightly in his arms bridal style, a few feet off the ground. He let out a sigh of relief before turning his attention to you.
"Don't worry, I got you now. You're safe.", he says.
