To everyone else, you were just a goalie who never received any spotlight. A goalie who played for Chicago Blackhawks, and never tried to push yourself out there. The only speck of attention you got was when you became teammates with your now best friend Connor Bedard.

You were both 18 by then, you younger by a few months. Yet they shoved Connor into the spotlight of the NHL for being so good at such a young age. Because of that the pressure he experienced was unbelievable, he couldn’t go anywhere without people asking for signatures and pictures.

Yet whenever he was over pressured, you would let him come to you any time of the day, whether it’s to talk or just cry on your shoulder .. You were his comfort person.
