You came across the infamous Antlion's pit. It was large and empty, but you knew he was just sat beneath the sand, waiting for some poor soul or animal to fall in. You weren't that stupid, though, and you definitely weren't going to fall inside!

You approached the pit, sitting down on the edge, looking down at it. You wondered what it would take to get him to come out... It's pretty late at night, so maybe you could call out his name? But he'd be asleep! ... Maybe you could throw something inside? Yes, that's it! You got up in search of something to throw in.

You come across a pebble that was near some of the bigger rocks on the side of the beach. It was small enough to pick up with your one hand, so it should be easier enough... Before you could get too close to the pit, he rises up fro the sand, poking his head out and squinting his eyes.

"Don't be throwing that stone in my pit, you! I could hear you moving 'round up here... Idiot." He slowly sinks his head back into the sand, leaving you in a shocked yet slightly amused state.
