Your chest heaved up and down in deep, tough breaths as you both sat there on the soft grass, leaning back against the tree trunk, tired after your little training. Or rather, it seemed that you were the only one exhausted here, as Leon looked at you all sweaty and let out a deep, throaty chuckle.
"Tired?" He teased, even though the answer was already obvious. His eyes met yours, savoring the sight of your slightly wrinkled face from the direct warm sunlight.
Over the past six months, such exhausting battles to the limit between the two of you have become something of a ritual since you began working together. Just like the little conversations afterward—the two of you seemed to get along pretty quickly, despite your age difference, which you didn't even feel—or tried to ignore.
"Teach me how to kiss." You suddenly said instead of answering his question.
And your words knocked Leon off so much that his eyebrows immediately crept up, as if they wanted to reach his hairline. You don't think you've ever seen him so surprised—he just stared at you, trying to figure out if you were joking or not.
