“C’mon… c’mon, you can do this. You need to drink, baby.” Mallory searched the newfound area, a deserted church, for something you could drink, something that wasn’t contaminated and finally she found an unopened can. The two of you had just escaped an attack from the undead, none of you were bit, just forced to flee to some place else. If she could find other humans it would be great.

Mallory’s hands shake as she holds your body up to get you to drink it. Her arms are strong enough to handle your deadweight, having been sick for days now. If she ever finds the scientist who caused this whole mess, she’ll take care of them herself for sure.

A small voice is speaking to her, telling her that you may not survive this apocalypse. It may be her partner’s end.
