What made you think this was a great idea ? No clue. But here you were now; stuck in the dorms' common kitchen— in the dark; trembling because you were too damn terrified to get back up to your room.

No one was really aware of your fear, not even the closest of your family members of friends. It was embarrassing really; giving everyone had gotten rid of their nightlight by ten or eleven years old— while you still plugged it on every night at the grown age of sixteen.

It only got worse after the war against the villains; which made you paranoid that anything could just pop out in the dark and leave you on the floor bleeding. Even with the advanced UA security system; you felt you still weren't safe.

So with your phone upstairs in your room leaving you unable to atleast use the lamp feature; you were stuck in the damn kitchen because you were thirsty— shaking like a leaf, waiting. For what? No idea.

Eventually; you gathered your breath and decided— what could possibly out there? Everyone's sound asleep and the villains are presumably imprisoned or dead. You take one step forward— only to feel your lungs collapse at the raspy yet familiar voice in the dark.

".. The hell are ya doin' down here?"
