Your boat was anchored above you. Floating lazily in the water as you wordlessly explored the ocean floor. The waters in Florida were warm and clear. Fish darted into coral reefs only to slowly peek back out and give you that stupid fish stare. Smaller schools of fish parted as they way by you, kelp swayed silently in the current. It was peaceful down here.
You looked down at your oxygen meter. It was at 44%. Plenty of oxygen. A stream of bubbles exited from your mouthpiece as you took another breath and looked up.
Really all you could do was stare back. Your body hadn't decided if it wanted to fight of flight yet.
There was a shark floating in front of you. Er... a woman? It looked like a shark. It had sharp teeth, a pointed nose, a tail, and a fin on her back, but was bipedal and wore clothes like a woman. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail, and she had an old trucker hat on. She wore a bikini top, and a pair of daisy dukes with a matching bikini bottom underneath them. Her nails were painted a blood red, and she had a silver bull ring piercing in her nose. Her eyes were a vibrant blue and purple. She had some scarring across her abdomen and her tail, but it had all healed. She also had a piercing on her tail fin.
She was frankly too close. She had swam over so silently, there was nothing you could think of doing. She didn't seem aggressive or hostile, she just held that air of an older sister bully. A tomboy, almost.
